Christina Murray. I attended my first Crossfit class in November 2015. I had been lifting weights for some time, but Crossfit made me realize how much I babied myself in the weight room. When I had a coach prescribing me a weight, teaching me the movements, and pushing me to give my all, I was amazed at what I could truly accomplish. And thus began my love affair. As my strong bond with Crossfit formed, I was reacquainted with a past love, yoga. Despite the cliches that Crossfitters are too intense for the calm and serenity of yoga, I have found they work hand in hand. Yoga allows me to go further and recover better in Crossfit. Crossfit allows me to build the strength to reach new levels in yoga. So here is a view at my little menage a trois.
